Would you rather get your rates by email? No problem. 

To receive your rates invoices and other communication by email, you can go to your my.orc.govt.nz and change your settings.

You will need to enter the assessment number, valuation number or property address from your latest ORC rates invoice.

Note: We are not able to email rates accounts without the email application form being completed.

When you select Set up your rates email you'll be taken to the "My ORC" website, where you can manage a lot of your ORC rates information. If you have any problems our customer service team can help talk you through it. Give them a call on 0800 474 082 Monday to Friday: 8am to 4.30pm.

How are you identifying your property? You can search using the property address, valuation number or assessment number from your rates invoice.

Select the region you are being charged rates for.


Enter the search criteria (property address, valuation or assessment number). If your address isn't coming up, click cancel and make sure you have selected the right Otago region.


Choose the things you'd like to change, then you will be able to complete the required details for each area.
