Why:

This needs to be done to keep the drains that form part of our flood protection schemes, protecting properties and farmland in flood prone areas of Otago, clear of grass weeds.

Work will be carried out by ORC staff and external contractors.

Glysophate 360 is the chemical that will be used for the control of grass weeds in the invert of the ditches.
