A new Flood Protection Management Bylaw 2022, replacing the Bylaw made in 2012, came into effect on 1 September 2022, covering all flood schemes and infrastructure in Otago.
Minor amendments were also made to maps in Schedules 2 and 3 of the Bylaw resolution of the Otago Regional Council on 28 September 2022.
