Spraying operations to manage vegetation scheduled across Tokomairaro and Lower Clutha November 2024 to June 2025.
Our customer support office in Dunedin is closed to the public at 4.30pm on 23 December, reopening on 6 January 2025. Our Queenstown office is closed to the public at 4pm on 23 December and reopen on 16 January 2025. All phone lines will be answered 24/7 by our after-hours service during the holiday shutdown period. Spraying operations to manage vegetation scheduled across Tokomairaro and Lower Clutha November 2024 to June 2025.
Otago Regional Council scheduled drains and waterways in:
Maps of the areas to be sprayed are available on ORC’s website at orc.govt.nz/CluthaSpraying24
1 November 2024 to 15 June 2025.
This activity is carried out to keep the drains and waterways in our flood control and land drainage schemes free from vegetation build-up and control overgrown willows within the Lower Clutha Matau and Koau River branches.
Work will be carried out by ORC staff and external contractors.
