Partially Operative Regional Policy Statement 2019 to become fully operative

Operative Date of additions to the Partially Operative Regional Policy Statement 2019.

 

The Otago Regional Council has approved further provisions to be added to the Partially Operative Otago Regional Policy Statement 2019 and resolved to make them operative from 4 March 2024.

The following provisions have been made operative:

  • Policy 4.3.7 Recognising port activities at Port Chalmers and Dunedin
  • Method 3.1.6
  • Method 3.1.10
  • Method 4.1.3
  • Method 5.1.2
  • Glossary: Port activities

There are no further matters under appeal. Consequently, the Otago Regional Policy Statement 2019 is now fully operative.

The Otago Regional Policy Statement 2019 will be available on Otago Regional Council’s website: orc.govt.nz/orps, and at public libraries throughout Otago. Alternatively, copies of the document can be requested by phoning 03 474 0827 or 0800 474 082, or can be obtained from Council offices at:
