The scheduled drains are in:

• East and West Taieri
• Tokomairaro
• Lower Clutha

This activity is carried out to keep the drains in our land drainage schemes free from grass and weed build-up to maintain free-flowing capacity in the drainage network. The land drainage schemes ensure that the rural and some urban areas remain productive and liveable.

Work will be carried out by ORC staff and external contractors.
