Variation - Dunedin one-way system cycle lanes

The Otago Regional Council approved a variation to the Regional Land Transport Programme on 7 May 2014. The variation is the addition of the Dunedin one-way system cycle lanes project. The project proposes to replace existing unprotected cycle lanes along State Highway 1, Dunedin (between Pine Hill and the Oval), with cycle lanes which are separated from the traffic flow.

The New Zealand Transport Agency will now decide whether to grant funding for the project.
