Come and share your ideas on actions for the future of your river catchment.
Help us build on what you have already told us. This community hui will be about identifying and prioritising actions that are most important or will best help improve the health of your catchment.
This meeting will be held on Monday, 14 August from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the East Otago Events Centre in Waikouaiti.
We want to help the community to develop a catchment management plan for Toitū Te Hakapupu that identifies a shared vision for catchment values, and actions that can be taken to achieve that vision.
Areas of discussion will include:
• Exploring potential actions to solve issues / achieve outcomes
• Considering who can help with actions
• Identifying gaps in knowledge and expertise
• Prioritising actions / focus areas
This will be the last community hui supporting the development of the draft catchment management plan, so we’d love to have your input.
Supper and tea/coffee will be provided.
We’d love to see you there!
Toitū Te Hakapupu is a four-year Jobs for Nature partnership project between ORC and Kāti Huirapa Runaka ki Puketeraki, in collaboration with East Otago Catchment - and you, the community.
