Keeping you up to date with detours and changes happening as a major Queenstown roading project is underway. Otago Regional Council is working with the New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi to keep Queenstown bus passengers moving while this infrastructure work happens. Please check back to keep up with changes to bus routes.
Buses stopping at the Frankton Bus Hub after 9pm may follow detours due to road closures during this time. Detours will depend on where the road works are happening. Find out which routes are affected on which dates below.
No bus stops will be missed, and the usual routes will resume after 6am.
Please let your bus driver know if you are transferring to another bus at the Frankton Bus Hub so they can communicate with the other driver if buses are running behind schedule.
While most of this work will be done at night, travel times may also be affected during the day so please plan ahead. If you have to be somewhere at a specific time you may want to consider catching an earlier bus.
