Operative Date of Amendment 2 (NES Plantation Forestry)

The Otago Regional Council has approved Amendment 2 (NES Plantation Forestry) to the Regional Plan: Water and resolved it will be operative from 1 July 2018.

The amendment is made in accordance with Section 44A(5) of the Resource Management Act 1991 to remove conflict and duplication with the National Environmental Standards for Plantation Forestry, which came into effect on 1 May 2018.
