The Otago and Southland Regional Transport Committees (RTCs) prepare Regional Land Transport Plans for Otago Regional Council and Environment Southland.
Prepared under the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the two regional plans have since the 2015-2021 plan been combined into a single document. They propose both strategy and investment for the two regions’ transport networks.
The plan outlines proposed transport network improvements for the next six years, and forms the application for funding from the National Land Transport Fund for the next three years.
