The Draft Head of Lake Whakatipu Natural Hazards Adaption Strategy is here! Your voice matters, so come and join your community to share your thoughts and give us feedback to help make the Draft Strategy better.

This is also an opportunity for you to: 

  • Learn more about the Draft Strategy and its long-term vision and goals. 
  • Hear about existing and possible future responses to natural hazards. 
  • Explore the Action Plan. 
  • Understand how the Strategy will be implemented. 
  • Ask us your questions. 

We’ll be at Glenorchy Hall at 7pm on Thursday, 13 February 2025. 

You can join us in person or online via livestream. 

 

For the livestream, you will need to register before the online presentation starts to access the meeting link. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the livestream link. Register for the livestream: www.orc.govt.nz/holwfeb25.  

Can’t make it? No worries – the livestream will be recorded, so you can watch it later.

The next day on Friday, 14 February, there will be also a Drop-in Session where you can chat informally with ORC, QLDC staff, ask questions and provide feedback. Drop in when it suits you between 2pm and 7pm at Glenorchy Hall.
