South Dunedin future public workshop (Nations Church)

Tuesday 8 April 2025

2 pm - 4 pm

Venue: Nations Church, 334 King Edward Street

Come along to a public workshop at Nations Church and help shape South Dunedin’s future. The South Dunedin Future programme has shared reports on climate risks and possible solutions. There are seven options to explore, and we’d love to hear your thoughts!

The Dunedin community can find out more and have a say on the seven possible futures identified to meet South Dunedin’s flooding challenges at one of the community events in April and May.

The joint Dunedin City Council - Otago Regional Council South Dunedin Future programme has released two reports which analyse the risks facing the low-lying area and options for responding to them. The reports are key building blocks for making a long-term climate adaptation plan.

Join a public workshop to take part in discussions about the future of South Dunedin. These sessions will go into more detail about the challenges and options for responding to flooding. Your input will help shape a long-term plan for the area. The workshop will be approximately 2 hours.
