Professor James Brasington from University of Canterbury is a long-time researcher of South Island’s braided rivers, especially the Dart and Rees Rivers. His talk will be about:

- past changes to the Dart and Rees Rivers
- how the rivers and deltas might change in the future
- what hazards we might expect as a result of these changes
