The Council meeting includes establishing a Port Otago Liaison Group, approving community consultation on an 18-month Lake Wakatipu Public Water Ferry Service trial, and notifying Plan Change 8 (Discharge Management) and Plan Change 1 (Dust Suppressants and Landfills). The agenda also covers Chairperson’s and Chief Executive’s reports, a resolution update, and a public-excluded session on appointing an independent Audit and Risk Subcommittee member.

Outstanding actions on resolutions of the Council are provided to update on progress.

This report seeks Council guidance to establish and appoint a Port Otago Liaison Group.
The purpose of this report is to enable Council to approve the Lake Wakatipu Public Water Ferry 18-month trial option for community consultation. This includes consideration and approval of the consultation approach.
This paper is provided to approve the notification of Proposed Plan Change 8 (Discharge Management) to the Regional Plan: Water for Otago, and Proposed Plan Change 1 (Dust Suppressants and Landfills) to the Regional Plan: Waste for Otago.
