Otago Regional Council will spray scheduled drains and waterways in the East and West Taieri areas to control vegetation build-up and overgrown willows within the Taieri River.

When:
1 November 2026 to 30 June 2027.
Why:
This activity is carried out to keep the drains and waterways in our flood control and land drainage schemes free from vegetation build-up and control overgrown willows within the Taieri River.
Work will be carried out by ORC staff and external contractors.
