Check out this video featuring Kirk. Kirk is one of our environmental officers, biosecurity. Biosecurity means managing and protecting our environment from unwanted biological threats, such as animals, plants and other organisms that cause harm to our environment.

Kirk helps biodiversity in Otago by hunting out pests. In this video we spend the day with him as he hunts for pest plants. Check it out to see what he does and why his role is so important to Otago and our environment.
